I am a 63yr old disabled Stroke survivor(sorry for the long rambling review, it is the best I can do with half a brain). I spend the summer on the mid-coast of Maine, in my current physical and mental condition, I am very dependent on my car for my well being, so any downtime is devastating to me. During this years summers stay, I had a stalling/stalling after start, or failure to start situation occur with my Tig. I really did not want to arrange for towing it as I knew that the nearest preferred shops where 20+ miles away and I did not want to deal with any of that. I decided to try and find a mobile mechanic, so I had Google AI let me know which mobile mechanics might cover my location .After getting the possible options; I went on their webpages and began my research(looking for phone numbers so I could call and reading customer reviews).I narrowed it down to a few and started to make calls in order to move forward toget this resolved ASAP.I started to make calls with a couple of them declining to work on a VW. I got to (Kellogg's Auto Repair aka KAR, to me) and spoke with Keagan: I explained my situation, at which point,Keagan began to ask me some probing questions about the problem. I provided as much info. as I could. Keagan let me know that he really needed to scan/check the vehicle himself to properly diagnose and provide the appropriate repair, this made perfect sense to me, so I inquired about the charge for such a visit, he told me ;I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable his rate was, so I booked a diagnostic appointment with him. Long story short, he came and was able to witness the problem first hand and get a good scan on the car .All signs pointed to a bad Fuel Pump Control Module aka: FPCM,an electrical issue( very hard to confirm and trace) I had done my own scan and research and up in the same area. I agreed to have him order part and come back to install which he did. After the new part was in, he found the problem still present he let me know that he needed to get better knowledge of the VW wiring. He went back and pulled up the proper VW wiring .Once he was armed with the proper knowledge, he came back and found a signal wire that had been rubbed to the point that it broke and no longer sent proper info. to the FPCM, after he repaired the wire, the Tig fired up, I was back to peace and serenity on the coast of Maine.

Keagan is amazing. Totally reliable and efficient. He even comes to you. Very knowledgeable and will find you the best way to fix your vehicle for the best price. 15/10 recommend

Being an old school mechanic myself working on cars in the yard I thought what a great idea. A mechanic that comes to you, can work in the yard or if you have a garage. And especially if your car or truck is dead you don’t have to worry about towing it anywhere. I was not disappointed, Keagan has worked on a couple of my vehicles and did an excellent job. What I really liked was the fact that he really was thorough paying extra attention to details even in explaining what he was doing. He really cared and it showed in his work. When he changed all my brakes on my Tundra I did some towing and didn’t think the brakes were as tight as they should have been. I called him and he came as soon as he could and bled them and assured me they were fine. I drove it again and sure enough after a short while they started to really grab. They needed a break in period. They are excellent now. He also changed the pulleys on my riding mower while he was here doing the brakes on my Sonata. I am recommending him to anyone and he will be my go to for most if not all repairs.
